TranScan's focus is the development of the correct protocols, procedures, and appropriate use of new and existing technologies to enhance the sample acquisition and analysis process. These processes are designed to minimize the effects of environmental noise and thereby maximize the opportunity for detection of drugs, explosives and other chemical contraband. By combining the above with CTPAT supply chain integrity, TranScan provides the means to vastly improve security at a fraction of the costs normally incurred by high risk cargo, while recognizing the needs of JIT (Just in Time) commerce.

TranScan Systems designs, commercializes, and deploys advanced trace detection solutions for non-invasive inspection (NII) of all means of transport and cargo. Our equipment and methodology complements existing NII systems like X-Ray or, in many cases, replaces imaging systems where they are too costly or impractical.  Applications range from screening aircraft, vehicles, air cargo, sea cargo, packages, as well as border control applications without the need for expensive scanners. TranScan specializes in those applications where secondary verification is needed due to the nature of the cargo (NORM), origin of export, or the lack of established screening procedures such as aircraft fuselages.
